Since 1994, Karuna DiLibero has been an avid student of yoga, who continues to hone her skills by studying Indian Philosophy, Vedic Chanting and, of course, the physical practice of Yogasana in its' varied traditions. In 2000, Karuna had the honor of meeting her guru, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. Following the meeting of her Guru, she founded and directed a small yoga studio for 3 years. In 2003, she spent 6 months in India deepening her own practice and has traveled internationally to share the expeience of yoga with others. When describing this path, she says, "Yoga has transformed my life in so many positive ways. It helps me see who I truly am and helps me find my place in this world. The philosophy of Yoga reminds me keep prespective and is a daily reminder to me to strive for balance.
It brings such peace into my being and it is this inner joy, power and strength I wish to convey to others that drives me to share the practice with others." She currently resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico where she teaches on an individual basis, for the Staff at Outside Magazine, local spas and for Body of Santa Fe.
