Not familiar with labyrinth? Basically, a labyrinth is a meditation tool. 

There is a stone Chartres patterned labyrinth in front of St. Francis Cathedral in Santa Fe. While there are several patterns of labyrinths, the Chartres pattern is the ‘grandmother’ of labyrinths.
